I looked for a Cocteau quote that said this better but couldn't find it.

What? You gonna put a moustache on the Mona Lisa? It's a fucking Primanti Bros. sammich. It's people like you who make me actually have to respond to people who ask me if I want mustard or mayo on my corned beef.

Re: To fuck or to cook?
Cooking is great and all -- and I will admit to being a little inspired by Sidd and RT to buy Keller's book and get a blanching insert gizmo -- but when do y'all talk about fucking? I mean, "to fuck" has top billing in the forum topic and I don't see any recent references.

There is an old thread about how Hank liked to use vegetables to stimulate his prostate, which sort of combined both topics. Search "eggplant"

Apparently, we all decided to cook rather than fuck. Sad, isn't it?
We're getting old. For more proof, go see how moribund the Adult Board is. And no one even suggests another breasticle day, for fear of what we might see.

Not sure about "all". I am about sex and wine. Otherwise I stay out of the kitchen. And I am sockless these days as well.

Ahhh, I see. Perhaps it's the premise in the topic that cooking and fucking are mutually exclusive.
We may be older, but we're hardly old.
Maybe I should come at this from a different angle. Let's say you're dating someone for awhile, let's say a year, or you're married a year, and there is still a strong base animal attraction to each other, and you have no issues with your cooking relationship. I have 3 questions for the prurient at heart: If work and other obligations still allowed you some free time every night and on weekends, how often would you prefer to fuck? What do you do when your bf/gf/spouse does not desire the same fucking frequency as you (they may want more, or may want less). Do you fuck anyway, if you say it's OK despite your momentary disinterest, or the bf/gf/spouse says it's OK, despite their momentary disinterest?

Every night and on weekends. Though it depends on your definition of "some free time." If we're spending all of our time fucking, that could be an issue as one likes to read a book or catch of movie sometimes.

When you figure this one out, let the world know. But charge them for the knowledge -- you'll be a rich man.
I assume the third question is "How do you count to three?"

That's why I gave up movies and TV.

Take one for the team if your not in the mood. Hit the 23 year old paralegal if the SOs not in the mood.

Caesar dressing recipe
Ok, anyone out there have a favorite caesar dressing recipe? I'm not a stickler for the traditional, and probably don't want a creamy one--but the recipes out there seem like they interchange raw eggs, coddled eggs, mayo, and lemon juice, lime juice, red wine vinegar, and the level of garlic and anchovies/paste. Just wondering if anyone had a great recipe, otherwise I guess I have to improvise.

If I were to have a recipe, it would omit fish, but as far as I know I don't have one.
