Isn't it pretty to think so?

Apropos of Nothing
I know this guy and this absolutely blows my mind:
_______
Charles Kushner, a New Jersey real estate developer and Democratic fund-raiser, was charged with hiring a call girl and two intermediaries to obstruct a federal investigation of him and his companies, prosecutors said.
Kushner, 50, hired the intermediaries and a New York City call girl for $25,000 to videotape her having sex with a cooperating witness in the probe, according to a news release by U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie in Newark, New Jersey.
Kushner, the chairman of Kushner Companies and the top donor to the 2001 campaign of New Jersey Governor James E. McGreevey, ordered the videotape and still photographs sent to the witness's wife, who is also helping prosecutors, the release said.
"Kushner conspired with the intermediaries in the hiring of another call girl for the purpose of seducing and videotaping a second cooperating witness in the government's investigation," the release said. "The second intended victim, however, refused the call girl's advances."
Kushner recently joined U.S. Senator Jon S. Corzine, a New Jersey Democrat, in an unsuccessful bid to buy the New Jersey Nets of the National Basketball Association.

You'd be surprised. He certainly had an effect on the Guilliani, Whitman and Pataki races and he's pushing the Kerry vote this time.

Actually, I was joking and am not surprised that stupid people vote now that they register you when you get a driver's license in many states. This is good for the Dems because if both stupid people AND convicted felons weren't allowed to vote, the Dems would be fucked.

Blows my mind, too, and I don't even know the guy. $25,000 for having sex on videotape? Today's girls are doing it for free. Hank, your moms says to pick her up at 11, and stop coming around in that hooptie. She says she deserves better. I agree.

It should be noted that your return from your "honeymoon" caused some eyerolling on this board -- but not me, Not .. uh .. Not Me.
I, for one, understood the value of a drooling GOP partisan on these boards, and I'm willing to bet that noone appreciates that more than Club.
Sure, when busy, Slave drops his proxy on various conservative blogs faster than a hooker drops for a ten-spot on Beale Street, and Hank only needs to cope with the problem during occasional periods of sobriety. Bilmore's abandoned kayak has been spotted on the shores of Lake Luddite, so we might not see him logging in soon. Club, on the other hand, has been carrying the GOP mantle so regularly that I'm betting he now has Wrists of Steele.

Are you asking whether I believe the Senate is wasting its time on this proposed amendment? Yes, and I already said that. You were making it sound like the Senate was choosing to take up the FMA instead of the CARA. That is not, from what I understand, the case. The Senate was taking up the FMA instead of working on such matters as passing a budget.
