I'm not a Jew and I'm not in New York, but I was a camp counselor once at a Jewish day camp (also not in New York, FWIW), and I had never heard of it. I assumed it was something WASPs say to make fun of people wearing mock turtlenecks.

Hm. I am a sitzpinkler. Oddly, since "pinkle" sounds like "tinkle" and "sitz bath" is a bath sitting down (and "sitz" sounds like "sits"), I kinda thought that was what it meant.
Somehow, the insults that boil down to "you are a female!" don't do much for me. |

It turns out the bear was a bit of a beer sophisticate. He tried a mass-market Busch beer, but switched to Rainier Beer, a local ale, and stuck with it for his drinking binge.
FWIW, Rainier is not a microbrew. Any college or high schooler can tell you that. It's cheap and is easy to get. And apparently bears prefer it over that Miller crap.
