And all these years I thought you were supposed to exercise them. Sheesh, the hours I have wasted over the last 6 years taking the critter to the park, on long walks, throwing various objects for her to fetch and gnaw on when all I had to do was find a priest. Hmm, but would I have to find a priest every day? On second thought, I prefer exercise.

Go puppies!!! First good news in a while. Except the party cave - that was ok too.
ETA - I am also cheered by the thought that in a few months, my avatar will be seasonally appropriate again. Hooray!

Very Serious Post
Is anyone on here (anyone, anyone) a bluegrass fan? If so, any recommendations beyond the standard mainstream Alison Krauss-type stuff? For some reason listening to this music is making me feel a little more positive lately, so I think I should pursue it.
I realize this makes me a hick, so don't bother pointing it out. I think my hick cred is already well-established with the hockey-loving and everything. (I'm also helpful with calving cows, in the event such skills are required.)

They sure feel evil right now....I hear cabbage leaves work well but I'm hoping not to have to resort to that either.

Knowing my puppy, I'm pretty sure that she'd end up corrupting the priest and then we'd have to perform TWO exorsicms (three if you count the Displaced Dog, but he's so mellow I think he'd probably sleep through his own exorcism). I think that the chasing squeek toys probably is less expensive, if louder.

Mr. Lex would be the one to ask, but he is out of town. I will try to remember to ask him if/when I talk to him today.

I retract my earlier statement. What I meant to say was that puppies have good survival instincts.
