I have not scrolled to the end of this thread yet, but have you two kissed and made up yet? I hope not! I'm really enjoying reading extremely detailed and nuanced posts with citations to and excerpts from other extremely detailed and nuanced posts about how each of you think that you were misunderstood by the other and therefore think the other is a bitch/jackass.

They've made up in a way, but we're all still waiting for Coltrane to explain (1) just what Puppy ever wrote that constituted being a grammar Timmy and (2) why Puppy is still single.
I hate it when people leave loose ends like this.

We already all know why robustpuppy is still single. I read that somewhere.

* I hate when people do this.
ETA: I can't follow these threads. My fucking head hurts and I have to meet with some jackasses today. I have no idea what the hell I'm going to talk about and I have to blather for about an hour about something related to whatever it is these people filed in Court. The day when my lack of ability runs smack dab into a wall and I'm exposed for the fraud I am beckons ever closer. Ever feel like you're due a fat comeupance? I just can't keep doing this stuff. The boredom I believe is driving me insane. How can I be expected to read all these papares... its all so much black ink, pouring from page to page to page saying nothing... nonsense. "I want X dollars..." "My affirmative defense are X Y and Z..." When does it end? Where's the point? Why am I being paid to jack some folks off with a pile of lies about how much I give a damn? And why do people give me checks to engage in such utterly pointless behavior? I'm tempted to disrobe and walk into the meeting stark naked, raving. A miracle? Two tickets? Ehhhhh, fuck it. 8 hours to drunken blissful forgetting.

This kind of stuffiness is why I never stay at the Ritz (always the Four Seasons).

Uh... what do you mean by "recently"? The Harvard Club of NY?
I've been a member there for over 10 years, and I've never had to be escorted anywhere.

Yes, but apparently that was one of those cliquish, "in" definitions of "all" that excludes most of us, since we don't indeed know.
We would like to know. Is it because her colorful past has led her to be shunned by polite society? Was her heart broken, leaving her pining for the return of some young gent who has now gone off to war? Does she have a house full of little bastards who take up all of her time? Is she really a man, unable to marry her beloved under the laws of the retrograde state/district in which she lives?
Clearly, Coltrane knows something and is not sharing.

Boston, downtown. I think in the Backbay one, too, though I don't know the timing. About 4 or 5 years ago.

Hi!*
*Which do you hate more? The parenthetical shout out or the annoying and unnecessary use of the asterisk footnote?**
**If it is the latter, then I bet the completely gratuitous use of the double asterisk, secondary footnote to a footnote*** really makes your skin crawl.
***But really, aren't these posting devices the sort of thing that endears the Lawtalkers Law Talk Forums General Discussion Fashion Tips threads to all of us? It is true that you could probably write a macro that could generate most FB posts these days: (If "ironic" appears in post, insert parenthetical ("Hi PLF!"); If (Hi [poster]!) appears in post, generate response from [poster] that says "Hi!; If female poster complains about physical attribute or unpleasant conduct of former significant other/lover, generate post from random male poster pretending that he is that former significant other/lover and apologizing for or being defensive about physical attribute/unpleasant conduct.) But it is this repetitive and highly self-referential language and these repetitive and highly self-referential posting devices that make the FB so familiar and warm and comforting to us. It is a vast, confusing, cold, and often spiritually empty internet out there. Is it so wrong to want to have one tiny little corner of the world wide web where we can log on at any time of day or night, write the words "That's so hot!", and know that will not only be accepted but also appreciated?
