I can't tell whether she's wearing her roller skates in that picture.

Heck, with that much airbrushing, I'd look pretty damn close.
 Hmmm. Looks like someone's going to try being "Roller Girl" at Karaoke Night at the Dew Drop Inn next week!

Speaking of popularity, I just finished the book "Pledged" which is supposedly the "inside scoop" about sororities. Do we really need a book to tell us that bulemia, drugs and promiscuous sex are rampant in sororities? I did enjoy the parts about latent lesbianism though.
|
I'm reading it now. Not a lot of revelations. Mr Man glanced at a few pages and was horrified (something along the lines of would you ever allow your daughter to pledge a sorority knowing this stuff; which is all incredibly hypothetical, in light of the fact the neither of us has or plans to have a daughter, but I digress; for the record, my hypothetical response would be sure, but that could change I guess if I ever actually had a daughter). It seems that some things have been updated in the decade plus since I was in college (mainly the advent of IM), but generally it is just as I remembered sororities being at my school.

She looks kind of skanky and worn-out in that picture and her nose looks big. and the way she's posed hides her ass and thighs. Now I see the resemblance -- I look just like her!
Why are you not kissing up to me like Paigow said you were doing to the fbetties? Why, thurgreed, why?

Don't be coy. As you well know, I was actually the inspiration for the term (which, coincidentally, was invented by the Paigow).
Don't be a poophead to me just to prove her wrong. There have to be easier ways to prove that she's not always right. I'm disappointed at your lack of creativity.

Barely, I think TM just doesn't want to incur my wrath. After all, I am a trained fighter.
And if I can segue for a moment, I just found out yesterday that one of my trainers trained Hilary Swank for Million Dollar Baby. He's such a dude (and I'm so cool). This shouldn't have impressed me more than the fact that he also trains Arturo Gatti, but unfortunately, it does.

Doesn't the nonsense vary by sorority? With fraternities, there is a big difference (or at least there was at my Square State Land Grant Football Factory undergrad school back in the last century) between the super-secret, hazing, ritualistic, et al. Greek houses and the not very secret, no hazing, informal, et al. Greek houses.
And, more importantly, are there any hot spanking stories in there?

No, she looks like she's had a long day in the sun on some Caribbean beach, and now that we've had a nice dinner, hit a club and are making our way to the next one, she's sat down for a moment against the granite retaining wall and is trying to convince me, without much difficulty, that we should skip trying the club and should go back to her room to just relax. Maybe I could rub some lotion on her back to make sure she doesn't peel. Then we can climb into bed and listen to the waves as we...
I'm sorry. Got caught up. Ummmm. Roller Girl.
