Regular margaritas are fine. Frozen maybe not- but a plain salt margarita is okay.

Don't worry, Hank. Listen to your boys in DC: it is a sickness that can be cured. You weren't born that way.
(But you need a parothead Hank for the margarita posts).

2. A stiff plain-salt margarita on the rocks served in half a bowling ball is not a girly drink.

Poll:Whose Cocktail of Choice is the Most Muy Macho?
I drink molten steel mixed with wood alcohol, with a hint of lemon. Does that make me girly?

I dissent that any frat guy could order a drink called "Lolita" and not get laughed at, as a general matter. He'd have to make something lascivious out of it, and even then, eyebrows would rise.
And you can drink all the margaritas you want, but in a black and white/binary/if you ain wi' us you agin' us world, a margarita is a feminine drink.

Bowling has become fag- unless you're an old skool fat guy.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmaybe, but ONLY because of the bowling ball. And really, it should be a used bowling ball, and you should have to drink through the finger holes.
ETA the used bowling ball and drinking through the holes is even more important after Hank's post, though I have to say that his post kind of tends to support the proposition that margaritas are not a super-straight macho, macho man drink.

You know, maybe I will. If you have the space. Send me the dates again as I am heading to the NYC this month too.

Depends. Did you shave your entire body before you put on your resort wear?

Not if you were just experimenting.

What do you do when alone in the back seat of a cab with a woman (not your mom or your sister)?

Cocktails
Last time I was in Vegas, a guy at my table ordered a Basil Hayden Manhattan. He was later confused at the lack of any suggestion of basil in the drink.
When I explained, oh how we laughed and laughed. And ordered more of them, because, in the words of a certain fictional character portrayed by a winsome blonde best supporting actress nominee, they "taste[] so fucking good".
But really, where can I get a Chocolate Choo Choo? Tastes like candy . . . .

I've always gone for Oak myself. Preferrably charred slightly before distilling to give it that smokey flavor.
