Mike D is a Beastie Boy. His kids are super cute. I geeked it up and asked him where he got his boy the Adidas track suit and shell-toes. Sadly for my unborn child's future chances of pimp-dom, the answer was Japan.
Mitch Richmond has a gold medal for basketball, being part of Dream Team III. My wife didn't know who he was either. He spent most of his career on the west coast.
Kyan is a big tool. My gay NYC cousin tells me that Kyan used to be a stripper in New Orleans under the name "Kyan Pepper."

Attention Hometime people
Robin Hartl has joined the Hometime Co-Host Trail of Tears, preceded in dumpedness by such greats as Joanne Liebeler and other assorted Minnesota lesbians.
In her place, the producers are shifting to an ensemble cast.* In other words, we'll be afflicted with ugly behind-the-scenes functionaries like Judd Nelson (no relation) and Lenny and Bucky.
This is not news. What is news is that the ensemble cast includes amazing new eye candy by the name of Miriam Johnson (no relation). I've always had a thing for chicks named Miriam. But this chick is hot. Model hot. I defy you to find a hotter chick on a (real)** home improvement show.
That is one sweet, sweet piece of DIY ass.

If you thought the "Attacked by a Chimp" story couldn't get any better, you'd be wrong.
When the Davis family sought to be reunited with their beloved Moe (after it had already bitten three people --- two more bites than dogs are allowed), they were represented by --- wait for it --- perennial parasite Gloria Allred, a PR flak who gave up actually practicing law in preference to representing the media interests of screeching primates who bite the hand.
I am thoroughly shocked and amazed that Allred hasn't yet announced she is representing Doug Wead.

Bad news: "Miriam and her husband, Paul, have just purchased an 80-year-old house and are in the middle of a complete renovation.
Good news: "Miriam boasts that she is more comfortable operating power tools than Paul!"

But wouldn't you, stuck with the face, at least cut (or at least wash and COMB) the hair and get a wardrobe consultant in?

Although this particular photo isn't the best example of this, Chris Rock's observation is, "He shows up for court dressed like Captain Crunch."

Dissent. He needs to show the jury that his normal whacko self is - yes - whacko, but also harmless and whimsical and fantasy-based. If he walked into court in a BB suit, cut and combed hair, and normal skin color, they'd just know he was trying to pull something over on them. This way, they can become convinced he's not hiding anything. Weird - eccentric - but harmless, is his key.
I think they deliberate for about four hours, and then acquit.

I KNOW, TAKE IT TO THE TAX REFUND BOARD
I can't remember from last year...approximately how long after your federal e-filed tax return is "accepted" by the IRS does one's refund show up in one's account, if one opted for the direct deposit? I think it was as fast as a week last year, but it sounds like 2-3 weeks based on the IRS's website

Oh, God, yes. We're talking about a totally outrageous paradigm.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

When did you file? I think that it take longer as it gets later in the year. I filed around the first week of February, and it took about 10 days, which seemed a little longer than last time.
This is for direct deposit. I recall the checks take longer.
