I tend to forgive the brits their hats. At least they try. No one else bothers.
And other than the hat, she seemed to look as good as I've ever seen her. I really liked the jacket.

The hats were the best part of that whole affair. What a fucking wanker. He can have his horse-faced bride.

I read somewhere that the hat was in keeping with the fact that the Prince is an animal killer.
The outfit itself was nice although I would have picked a lighter color for a wedding. I guess that is also consistent with the fact that she is an adulterer. Sinner. No white for her. And I love how the priest made them atone for their sins (or is repent a better word?) during the ceremony.
Still, they did a good job on her hair and makeup as she looked less horsey for this.

I thought it was kinda cool, though I agree that a different color would have been better. I bet that it would have looked striking on Diana (though I guess that's not really Camilla's fault).
I have a much more tolerant take on Chuck and Camilla after reading something somewhere about how he was talked out of marrying her back in the day by his cousin/surrogate father Lord Mountbatten. And his kids seem to like him, so he can't be all that bad of a guy.

Am I alone in thinking that Diana was nothing great to look at either?

Nope. Her sons are cute though.

Not only a killer, a lover as well.

Not at all. But Camilla's not a step up. Of course, Charles didn't deserve even someone of Diana's looks, other than for his immense inherited wealth and status.

Celtic- A Club that need to get focused on the business at hand-

Any chance they'll get them to drop the pretense that Scotland is actually a country?
(And don't even get me started about Welsh Football.)

Hey, inheritance is the way to go, since all taxes are immoral, right? Whoooo hoooo royalty!!!!!!!!!
I would quibble with your desire to have only people of equal attractiveness coupled, unless one (possibly just unless the guy) has more money than God, but I have yapped about that enough over the years, I'm sure.

You're probably not alone. She was "regular person hot," not "supermodel hot" (heard these terms somewhere -- was it here?).
But she photographed well, looked good in couture, and actually looked better at 37 (or however old she was when she died) than she did at 27.

Personally, I lost all stomach for the whole affair -- hell, for the whole monarchy -- when I read his comment to her, years ago, from a transcribed phone tap.
"I wish I could die and come back as a tampon so that I could always be in you." (Loosely quoted, but that's the gist.)
Ah, romance.

Oh, please. We all have our sexual quirks and fantasies. He was communicating openly about his sexuality, which far too many people don't do enough of.
The phone was TAPPED for chrissakes. Yeah, it was probably stupid of him not to save it for an in-person encounter, but knowing the British media they'd probably have a tape recorder in the hotel room.

nah, it was more equal opportunity looks bashing. Charles shouldn't be spared criticism on his looks. How did his kids turn out to be handsome?

It's a comment that makes me cringe no matter the context. It's not immoral or wrong or anything else, but I can't look at them without thinking about it and thinking, ugh.
It's sort of like Ruysbroeck. I mean, it's great for him and his wife that she wants her asshole licked and he does it.. But it's hard to think of anything else when he posts. And he's not fantasizing about being crusted with her blood.
