And if they think you don't know why or can't prove it, they're going to act like you're crazy for jumping to conclusions you can't prove and you know you'll whip that shit out then, because you won't feel like your snooping is as bad as someone cheating and then lying to your face when you gots the evidence in your pocket.

If someone accused me of cheating, and I was, in fact, cheating, my first thought would be "oh, shit," not "I wonder how they found out." I'd figure that I let something slip. Which is probably why I don't cheat. I'm not attentive enough to detail to adequately cover my tracks. Too much work to make the cheating worth it.

For the record, I've never cheated on anyone because I always figured it was better to get out of the relationship once you want to fuck someone else.
And that's soon-to-be-ex-hubby.

What is suspicious behavior that might lead someone to snoop on their SO? I guess its pretty subjective. Let's go with a situation where the SO has a new "colleague" come into their life who the SO tends to talk about a bit too often. And is a bit too friendly with at firm functions. And stuff like receiving lots of "hang-up" calls at home and observing that SO is spending more nights than usual working late starts to occur.

Couldn't you start by asking some questions? I mean, why do you always have to go right to rifling through underwear drawers and Outlook Accounts?

Am I recalling correctly that you are on your second marriage?

I hope it wasn't my PMs that prompted your pending divorce. Not that I didn't mean what I said, but still.

2. Well except for the soon-to-be-ex hubby part. It does relate to the long-ago-ex husband though.
I don't think I would have the mental energy to cheat on someone. It is not so much the issue of keeping details straight that RT discussed, but more the putting on a front to the other person. I wouldn't make a very good actor. My feelings are not hard to detect...

You have obviously driven her to it by being the kind of person who might later think of snooping just because you were confronted with tons of evidence.

I post 0.24 times a day. I like to think no one can recall anything correctly about me. But you are recalling correctly. Fortunately if I am drawing on any of my real life experiences, the experiences are from marriage #1.

I suppose. But after the expected denials, can a person start snooping then? Surely there must some threshhold where snooping a bit is allowed.

It kind of sounded like you were the one staying late with the colleage and spouse #1 was suspicious and colleage is now spouse #2.
I can never remember whether you are male or female, which is what made me think I might not be remembering the divorce thing properly.

You have a moniker with two food references and an avatar that is a container of food and then you are surprised that fringey remembers details. She mentioned an interest in being wife number #3 if you'd drop the soup avatar and make it a big Dagwood-style sandwich.
