Her youth, I think. The djs at the local AOR station when I was in high school always called it "Rocktober" when they were announcing concerts scheduled in October in their just-took-a-bong-hit smoky voices.

Hmmm. Now I am wondering if paigow is the kid sister of my friend Vince. Whoa, in a keanu-like way.

I can accept this from you with more equanimity now that I know you are all feminine side and this nasty brutish facade is just a mask.

That makes me think of a story one of my co-workers once told me. His wife is from an ol-skool Eye-talian family from South Philly. While attending a gathering of some of her cousins (I think) my non-Italian friend heard some of the attendees refer to to their neighbors as Matsu-Christi. His later explained what it meant (with much embarassment).

Yeah, but after Nate died, Brenda didn't need Lisa to voice her doubts and guilt. Since Brenda knows that Nate loved Lisa, I never understood why Brenda "listened" to her, other than the fact that Maya was proof of Lisa's superiority as an incubator. Although Lisa had some great lines at the wedding. "Anonymous cock."

I wanted to reach through the TV and kill Lisa myself every time she whinily asked Nate to stop at Whole Foods to buy Dreft.

The Wheel. Such a metaphor for my life. It keeps turning; I can't stand still; I can't run away and I can't slow down...

I've even been struck by lightning* Thunder and I have yet to go head to head.

You know I can almost never cut lose from my demanding schedule. But I do have to be in the City in October. What weekend/weekday? I have to fix it so I can actually say hi one of these days.

*Actually, thats true... and I'm sure I'm repeating myself.

Shoot me now.

I have officially become one of those people that I hate -- I just heard myself calling an associate named Mike "Mike-o."

Dude, me too! Also, that song Truckin'? Totally the same thing. "What a long, strange trip it’s been." It's like, whooaaa, the song is about me!

If it is any consolation, you became one of those people I hate a long time ago.

I guess that is probably not much consolation.

I picture you as a soused 65 year old crank, waving a rake around and running the kids off your yard, muttering something about that damn rock and roll music and how the world is going to heck.
