Motion to Compel Abandonment
Has anyone ever filed a motion to compel abandonment in Bankruptcy court? I am looking for an example of one that I can copy.

Actual proper usage of the Big Board
ORLANDO, Fla. — The owners of a Japanese restaurant who claim their newly renovated building is haunted are being sued by their landlord for refusing to move in.
An offer to hold an exorcism was refused, according to the 2.6 million dollar lawsuit filed by the owners of the Church Street Station entertainment complex last month in Orange County Circuit Court.
The lawsuit also asks a judge to decide whether the building is haunted and, if so, whether the ghosts would interfere with the restaurant's business.
Christopher and Yoko Chung had planned to move their Amura Japanese Restaurant into the building in October 2004, but backed out of the lease.
The Chungs' attorney says subcontractors gave several documented reports of having seen ghosts or apparitions in the restaurant at night. The attorney also says Christopher Chung's religious beliefs require him to "avoid encountering or having any association with spirits or demons."
The judge in this case has just got to be shaking his/her head and saying WTF?

I hate to be all Luddite on this, but your best bet is to head down to the Federal courthouse and look it up in Colliers on Bankruptcy.
(I've never done a motion to compel abandonment, but I have done a fair amount of other bankruptcy work - Colliers rocks).

9th Circuit, Central District of California. Chapter 7. I don't know what you mean by Perfected for unperfected. The guy just filed a couple of weeks ago. He is upside in his house and I have negotiated a short sale with the various lien holders. I just need to get the house out of the Bankruptcy. I have the homeonwers full coopreation. The Trustee's assistance said I need to file a motion to compel abondonment. Even though this guy is not my client I am going to have to help him prepare the document.
