How is my position inconsistent? I have maintained it since 2002 and it is my only articulation on the subject. I may not like the french or their politics or their lack of hygiene but I don't have a problem giving them money for goods and services at which they have a competitive advantage.

There are two types. The first are pristine, but want to be "bad girls" and just need a little coaxing to get them there. Those are not truly pristine, just sluts that haven't realized they're sluts yet. They are the holy grail of the sex world, because they are your sluts (as opposed to sluts in general). The other are the truly pristine that are all fucked up/guilty about sex. They don't really enjoy it, but do it for a variety of emotional reasons. |

Republican Majority for Choice's position (non-position) on Alito
Alito Named Supreme Court Nominee
President George W. Bush nominated Judge Samuel Alito this morning as his nominee to replace Justice Sandra Day O'Connor. Judge Alito currently sits on the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia. Today's nomination follows last week's withdrawal by Harriet Miers, President Bush's initial nominee to replace retiring Justice O'Connor
In the announcement, President Bush highlighted Alito's extensive career as a litigator, arguing twelve cases before the Supreme Court before being confirmed as an appeals court judge by President George H.W. Bush in 1990. Bush called Alito the most experienced nominee in 70 years. Judge Alito has opined from the bench on abortion rights, the separation of church and state and gender discrimination and has a very lengthy record.
RMC is carefully reviewing Judge Alito's record on issues of importance to our members. Our preliminary research raises some questions regarding his respect for precedent and judicial philosophy, but we are continuing to our investigation and we are already in contact with moderate Senate leadership. Stay tuned for updates as more information is released in the coming days.
