ETA: should there be some age cutoff in order to claim bragging rights on concerts attended? Like if my parents were hippies and took me to Woodstock as an infant (assuming I were old enough to be alive at that time), I couldn't post fond recollections of Woodstock here could I? I think that an understanding of the wonders of pot should be the baseline for ability to recount concert tales. For some, that might be age 12; others, age 25. Fair?

No. The term was "rock star." That's what she called me.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but: she has boobs? She's so beautiful I hadn't noticed.

Not to speak for Wonk or anything, since he'll do that later, but MM did say something about parking, which makes him at least 16 at the time in 1979.
eta, unless mom and dad drove him to the Summerfest.

Not at all. I don't see how my impending marriage has anything to do with the hotness of a girl.

When you're 6' 11" the doppler effect can phase shift your voice to the high side?

Not to speak for Mr Man or anything, ...
Oh. Fuck it. I'm gonna go ahead and speak for him. I believe he was describing multiple, but unconnected, Summerfest recollections in a single post. There were the times he walked there when he lived close by and there was also a time he saw Journey when he was traipsing along with (I'd guess) his up-to-no-good older sisters.
I think the line-up had turned to hairbandapalooza by the time he was close enough to walk.

I would agree with your analysis (and example for that matter). For reference, the Journey show was in 77, followed by REO, April Wine, Loverboy & Blackfoot at Milwaukee County Stadium in 80.
That makes me younger than 12 (by 3 months) at the show. You may want to revise the hypo.
