Are you saying that The Clapper is a generic clap-operated light on/off device? Does NFH own Le Clap by Loius Vuitton?

I buy the very best outdoor running/hiking/winter-weather gear.

I still wear a North Face ski jacket I bought in 1994. I heard the brand has gone downhill since, but this jacket just keeps going...

I was referencing your agreement re fancy-pants brand names.

I don't disagree with you, I was just making a cheap (and apparently weak) joke. I prefer quality (which may or may not be the fancy brand) over "impressive" brands.

"I've got an idea for what you can do, why don't you fucking fire your complete marketing team and get a new one there that knows how to market a show that won five motherfucking Emmys, golden globes, SAG awards, WGA awards, DVA awards, Producers Guild Awards, critic's top 10 list; you know if you can't fucking market that kind of show and get better ratings then maybe the problem doesn't lie here maybe it lies with marketing."
-- David Cross, on Fox's genius marketing of Arrested Development in the blooper reel of the Season 2 DVD.

I got the joke. I was making one, too.

As Sebby said, some fancy-pants brands live up their reputation (or marketing). Many don't.

Thanks in advance for the executive summary,

Running the Boston Marathon. Loser buys drinks and dinner. Winner becomes insufferable board braggart.

Respectfully submitted,

So, price the watch on the internet, and then go back to them and ask them for a discount because of your loyalty. Decide whether your loyalty is worth the difference between their best price and what you can get it for elsewhere.
Would you STOP with the sensible advice, already?!?

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.
