Bulgaria beat Mexico last night 3-0 in Reliant Stadium.

I got a call last night to confirm the score, because my sister is currently stalking the one Bulgarian that lives in town, and she wanted to see if he was going to make it out of the stadium alive or not.

FTR, dtb invented the "giving or receiving" question.

Yes. He's even a former Quiddich for the national team. Though there's been some mistranslation and he thinks that our word for "Quiddich" is "hockey."

Lessons learned by RT, so you don't have to

Immediately throw away the tights that have shot elastic at the waist band.

Do NOT rationalize their retention in the sock drawer with the idea that you'll wear them under trousers instead of skirts so the elastic waistband doesn't really matter.

I've been pulling at my crotch all day trying to get these damned things back up, and walking has been an interesting adventure. I feel like my six-year-old sister at my aunt's wedding, who spent the entire ceremony standing on the altar pulling at her tights through her blue taffita dress for a full hour and a half long Catholic mass. My uncle says watching her squirm and trying not to laugh was the only thing that got him through the ceremony.

FTR, I was not asking the question, but asserting the only possible answer.

Story about tights
I learned this during church as well. I was perhaps 10 and had BEGGED my mom to wear nylons to church. She finally relented, but gave me a pair of hers and, obviously, these did not fit. So I left church midway through, went to the bathroom and removed the nylons, and then returned to church and handed the wadded up stockings to my mom to place in her purse.

This story makes me sad. You are fidgiting and fighting against things that truthfully bother you, but might well be ignored by others. The best advice to you might be to just ignore it, and get on with your work- but to you the discomfort is real, and cannot be ignored.

When I realize that I would defend your right to fidgit, I am ashamed that I did not speak up to defend Paigow, albeit from my position low on the totem pole.

Surely her discomfort, while best ignored, was real.

I'm pretty sure that figiting, whatever that is, is a privilege, not a right.

If I was behind you and you tried this, you would find your head in the revolving door, while I used my shoulder to get it going -- wondering why it won't revolve.
