No. She was telling the truth. She waited until getting in the car before eating it- so she technically was bringing it home. Just because everyone knew it wouldn't make it home doesn't change that.

Perhaps it's your own contempt for anything that isn't cutting edge, or the "it" thing of the moment that is tainting your appreciation for the classics? Not everything older than your last gratuitous blowjob is a mojito, you know.
Posuer. You're what, like 35 now? It's time to grow up and admit that you've sunken into the soft middle-age of closeted homosexuality, spinning your way desperately toward a youth you will never reclaim.

You're just pissed because you always fancied yourselves a more suave Bennigans sort of fellow.
Could be worse; he could've placed you at Red Lobster.

All right, all right, we get it! Everybody thinks that Sparkly and Spooky and aV and I are the same person.
Well, we aren't. You guys think you're so clever.
Sparkly isn't even a guy. And only two of me -- uh, I mean us -- live in Ohio. Although I sometimes drop in to visit. As does, apparently, B'n'b. Who isn't me either.

If there were no Christmas, there would be the Hannukah and Winter Solstice celebrations that went on for millenia before some Jewish carpenter decided to become an Uber-Mensch (I know, another umlaut opportunity pissed away forever).
I understand he attracted enough other Jews to form a sect that hasw become quite popular in the last couple thousand years.

You're only half tribal, so you're too damn conflicted to figure out what the fuck you think this time of year.
Here's an Xmas thought - debating the age of the horseshit you believe is almost as fruitful as the "He Lied/No he didn't" debate over on the FB.

Oy veh. I celebrate the holidays with Jews and Hindus. The holidays are about getting really drunk and arguing with family. They're not about bickering abour religion.
If you don't participate in a party because its not your "sect," or you refuse to throw a party because you think it'd be an endorsement of a sect to which you don't belong, you're a douchebag who's missing the fucking point.

and conf. to Seb. I am 100% done with PB. Letting that group of dry humorless pseudo-scholars take over a very crazed and fun place is something for which you and I must take the blame. and SS, but that is another bitch.

I WALKED. And had shopping bags with me (Christmas shopping -- no, not holiday shopping, these were gifts to be opened on Christmas Day in celebraton of Christmas). It is unpossible to walk and eat when one is carrying bags of gifts.
And, balt, I was not saying you are interchangable. I was thinking that there is more than one person identified as being in Ohio, and getting the horse that is sparkly mixed up with the fish that is spooky.
ETC "aV" to "balt" not because I get them mixed up, but because I would have thought aV would be making that point, not balt.

What, as if we haven't all already figured out you are fucking someone in Ohio and cherish dreams of spending the rest of your life with him? Because it's no longer a coyly cute inside joke when it's blatantly obvious.
