Things you learn when you stay at home
The DHL guy just literally threw a package on our doorstep. I don't think he got closer than 8 feet away before tossing it. Good thing it's only a picture frame. I actually tried to catch him to give him a "what the fuck" look, but he sped off so fast he probably killed a few squirrels and neighborhood cats.
I always thought DHL was more chic than UPS or FedEx. I'm so disappointed.

DHL domestic is Airborne.
That puppy is so damn cute. Dog babies are so much cuter than human babies.

What's better than smoking on your Segway as you run down pedestrians on the Brooklyn Bridge? "Ooops, sorry -- suckers!"

Uh, how much are those nano thingies?
A link on Yahoo: "Get an iPod nano with a low interest Citibank Home Equity Line of Credit. Get Details."
WTF? Isn't Citibank the one with all the billboards about spending responsibly? This kinda undercuts their ad campaign as the bank that encourages fiscal responsibility.

I imagine the nano is the freebie that comes with the line of credit.
Certainly Jobs is skilled at getting us to spend money, but I don't think the nano's quite that expensive.

Or, both.

Citibank has the billboards that encourage fiscal irresponsibility - i.e., "no one is going to run down the stairs and hug you at the office," and "no one has ever romantically split a piece of pie chart," and "trade smiles". I hate them all. In fact, today I hate everyone. Just about. Not you fringey. Or anyone else posting today. You are keeping me entertained.

I like this stomach...

This one is much better than the first you posted. She was sucking in her stomach in the first one, which made it look weird because it doesn't need sucking in. And in the first one her hipbones stuck out too much; skinny is one thing but the protruding hipbones in the first picture just make me want to feed her.

I particularly hate the baby-penguin killer. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20051220/...ga_the_penguin
ETA I just met someone I've previously hated only over the phone! Now I have a face to visualize while hating! Yay!

Uh, how much are those nano thingies?
"Toga, a three-month old jackass penguin, was stolen from Amazon World on the Isle of Wight in southern England on Saturday."
The little guy is already gonna die. Don't you think the insult is a little too much?

The insult of stealing him? Or the insult of me hating the thief?

I hate those hypocritical, mealy-mouthed Citibank ads. I pass at least five of them every day, and believe me Citibank isn't thinking that "the most important bonds are human" when they're charging me $1.50 to use their ATM. Live richly my ass.
