Swayze is experimenting with rap:

'She's Like The Wind' is in the Hall Of Fame with The Beatles' 'Yesterday' as one of the most air-played songs in history," Swayze said.

"But my style now is closer to Sting or Peter Gabriel or Coldplay.

"I'm also experimenting with using rap rhythms as an emotional undercurrent for ballads."

You cold, ungrateful bastard. To think that she was once your mentor.

Not a sports betting post

I know I have a proclivity to bet favorites, but I think there's a great opportunity out there. Reese Witherspoon is +108 or so to win AMPAS' Best Actress. I think she's a mortal lock for the Golden Globe (since they can't give it to Renee this year, although maybe they'll find a way to do so?!) And with that, I'm surprised she's not a much bigger favorite. She's a much better bet than either Brokeback Mountain is for best picture or Phillip Seymour Hoffman is for best actor, though they're all roughly the same price.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, I think Brokeback Mountain will win Best Picture - -there's just not a lot of competition. Anyone seen and loved Munich? Good Night and Good Luck is currently the third choice on the betting line, and though I liked the movie, I cannot fathom it winning Best Picture. I think Crash has a much better shot.

His name's in enough rap songs from 1990 - 2000. You would think that would be enough.

You really would.

FYI

Yesterday I baked a delicious apple cake. Last night, while the baby and I slept, my husband's friends devoured it while watching PSU beat FSU in triple overtime. This morning, after schtupping me long and hard, my husband informed me that the cake was a big hit AND that all his friends remarked on how quickly I lost the baby weight.

I have never felt more fulfilled in my life. This gig is better than an extended session of no-strings-attached cunnilingus.

P.S. PM me if you want to know the cute things the baby did today.

Why were you not awake to fetch beers for him and his friends during the game?

I guess I was just a fool to believe I am anything you need.
