It is sunny, 70 degrees and (somewhat improbably) clear as a bell in the City of Angels today, and I can't believe I'm sitting in this office. I say all of the LA FBers meet in Santa Monica at noon, sit on the beach and drink our way to oblivion. Who's with me??

I think that "clear" downtown may be a bit different than "clear" at the beach (or at your offices). I'd love to ditch these shackles, but I have to be back downtown this evening for a hockey game and some free beers. |

If you, Fringey, ncs, and Mr. Man can follow up the beach drinkin' with some serious noir, I'd say you've got yourself one nice little Ollie Day.
I, myself, am headed to the beach in a couple of hours. But my beach will be cold, wet, and windy, with massive surf tossing around lots of former trees. My drinking will be done indoors. Festive, nonetheless.
