Interestingly, my ex-bf owned about 20 guitars. While we were living together, my kitty ate one of the rubber stoppers that was on the end of the prong of one of his guitar stands. I had to pay $500 for the surgery to remove the rubber stopper from his stomach. My dad called me crazy for paying for the operation (this was when I was a bartender and making about $15,000 (not counting tax-free tips) a year).
