from IMDB there are lots of them- including "the Greatest" which seems to include real fight scenes with scripted storytelling. but maybe this is the one

The film makers use a lot of valuable achieved footage, interviews with the Champ himself and those that were heavily involved in his life. A lot of classic Malcolm X footage can be found in this film as well. If you want to get a look into the life of the "Greatest Heavyweight Boxer of all time" then I advise you to watch this film. No dramatical theatrics. Just the man himself.
  
  I would also recommend THE GREATEST as well. If you want to get a full picture of Muhammed Ali. I wish that somebody would do a film of his post-Zaire boxing career. Now that would be a fascinating film to see the "Elvis" phase of Muhammed Ali. I've read Ferdie Pacheco's book. Someone in Hollywood needs to make a big screen version of it.

I saw When We were KIngs before I had kids and stopped seeing (mainstream) movies (other than G, X, XX, XXX or XXXX) and it is fantastic. I have it on my list to buy. A documentary look at the Rumble in the Jungle and the months preceding it. Awesome. Despite the differing contexts, hard to watch Will Smith's Ali in the backdrop of that memory.

A young Ali truly reminded me of my self when he said:

I'm young, I'm handsome, I'm fast, I'm pretty and can't possibly be beat.

Of course. But (1) documentaries are usually dry, no matter who they're about and (2) movies based on real people usually overplay that person's good and bad points and over-dramatize and sensationalize their life. The movie Ali couldn't successfully do either.

And actors usually get huge credit for playing a real person well. Will Smith did a good job with Ali. But he was in a tough spot because Ali is already larger than life. 100 times more charismatic than Will Smith on his best day.
