You can argue about whether the party is democratic or not -- preferably with someone else -- but you have to be a moron to argue that the party's name is the "Democrat Party." Not least because the party chooses its own name, and has named itself the Democratic Party.

But thank you for giving me an excuse to post this:

This is just plain stupid. But at least it was relatively brief.

This one, at least possibly. The threat is of overwhelming social services. Not saying I believe they will, but that's the one you have to confront--the concern that any immigrant population will take more from whatever social services are offered than they will pay back.

The Lou Dobbs of the world surely take issue with #1, too, on the view that the U.S. government should put the interests of U.S. citizens above those of foreigners. (When you put it that way, it starts to evoke our recent foreign policy.)

Query

Are we declaring War on Christmas again this year? I know that the wreath skirmishes have already started, but is this indica of all out war or just a border dispute between idiots?

I need to know whether or not to take offense at every.little.thing from not until New Years or if the stress of the holidays is enough.

I'll start worrying when homeowners' associations are empowered to muster armies.

Hell, in Texas, they have more power than the state when it comes to foreclosures. Homestead exemption doesn't apply to them. Close enough.

It's only a matter of time before they hire him to revamp the website and other material with the proper party name.
Then why don't they refer to themselves as the "Democratics". The Democratics today in Congress voted for....... It is either the Democratics in the Democratic party, or the Democrats in the Democrat party. Did you register as a Democratic or as a Democrat?

Until people start saying they registered as a Democratic, then I will refer to it as the Democrat party and you guys will just have to suck it up.

Probably because they learned grammar in school.
