Um, siphon? Wouldn't the bucket's bottom be lower than the bottom of the washing machine's tub? A short length of hose or tubing, a little lung power, and voila? Am I missing something?

That sounds awesome. Is it possible to train for a marathon in 6 months?

Due to a hip injury (cycling related) I've been unable to run until recently. 7 months on IR has not been fun.
