I thought the whole point of Chron is date order. Sometimes, reverse chron which is what is stated, or am I whiffing and that is the point?? if so, yes, illiterate. is it a 3 ring binder?

Eh, I've had secretaries who did it that way. Might just be that some prior boss was an idiot.

Maybe it's a deliberate attempt to make it difficult for the first years doing discovery on your files in a year or so. Smart.

I'm out of the law gig.

This was done by the boss, I think. Anyway, our admins don't overlap. Yay! My chron will actually be chron.

ETA and there's not that much correspondence.

No, by notebook, she clearly meant a spiral-bound notebook with the letters copied into it by hand.

If my father were still alive he would appreciate your story. Working as some sort of office clerk as a teenager, his boss asked him to put some papers (invoices?) "in numerical order". So he sets to work. About ten minutes later, the boss comes in and says "Numerical order, you know, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 . . ."

I like 30 Rock. Therefore, you should hate it.

I stumbled across this the other day, and couldn't figure out why Josh from the West Wing was talking about producing a TV show, especially with other West Wing cast members.

But at least they have the same sets.

I'm sure ncs will set me straight if I'm wrong about this, but I believe a trapper keeper is a 3-ring binder. Perhaps with plastic rings, but 3-ring nonetheless.

Not to be an administrative timmy, but: the correct label would be as follows

2005 Correspondence
(alphabetical)
