I suspect someone is playing with dolls. Will we get the "Impeach Cheney Too!" Doonesbury strip today? It was funny.

I thought the premise of the decision was that there were other procedures availabel and an exception where necessary to save the woman's life.
But it's too bad that we're all powerless to do anything about the policies foisted on us by the Supreme Court. It makes me wish that we had a legislative body to pass laws, one that we could elect and the lobby to change the laws when we don't like them.

Spanky might even be happy about this.
FBI raids Rep. Doolittle's (R. - Cal.) house.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Some of my family lives in his district and we have been waiting for this for so damn long. It is just a tragedy that this happened after the election. Charlie Brown was so close to taking the seat from this corrupt dimwit. Unfortunately there enough red-state morons who voted for Doolittle who are ignorant of his crimes or profit from them along with him.
Amazing that these dupes would want a slimy, corrupt piece of shit instead of a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and veteran of two wars.
Eh, his name is sure apropos though! Doolittle -- DO LITTLE.

see, I don't think Penske has the discipline to stay in character like this.

Good point. Let's try this:
CM, what is your opinion of Hillary Clinton?

What is this, a litmus test for this board now? I am not a wallflower on this one. Dennis Kucinich is my candidate for now. He was totally opposed to the Iraq war from the start and got out in front of the issue, and is the most experienced of the few Democratic candidates who voted against the illegal war. He has taken a lot of criticism for this and never waivered and I applaud him for his principle.
As for Hillary, I’m lukewarm as I am not sure she is true to the principles she espouses and I worry that she might go along with the Rs to get along once she got in. She certainly voted for W’s war and I can’t forget that, but least she is a real viable option, unlike retreads like Biden and Edwards or fantasy candidates like Obama or Gore. Regardless of her ideological purity, I think that people underestimate Hillary's potential to win this thing, either on her own or riding Bill’s coattails as the charismatic effect of the first hubbie will be a powerful blow to the Rs in the general election. Her ability to raise money heartens me if she becomes the candidate, but ultimately, after 2004, the question becomes can buy out Diebold too?
While I know Kucinich would be the best for our country after the last 8 years of this shit, at least if we have a woman candidate, and even if we lose, it would've been a memorable race, unlike the Gore and Kerry debacles.

Inconclusive. What about Robert Byrd and Ted Kennedy?

About the same kind of question as asking me if I'm a law professor. At least you call yourself captain marvelous. I don't call myself Professor Slothrop.

There is an oxymoronic quality to this sentence.
