If it's cooperative, how is that a challenge? I do not think I have the time to waste on carrying you through the tough parts of "Jordan."

As I was just explaining to another poster here, Minneapolis has the largest Hmong population in the country, perhaps the largest outside of southeast Asia. We have a large and growing Somali population. I live near a predominantly Mexican neighborhood. This poster then explained to me that we also have the largest population of some Ethiopian subgroup outside of Ethiopia, but I cannot recall the name of it. Perhaps she can assist. I am sure we pale, sts, in comparison to the vibrant melting pot of multiculturalism that is Detroit, but Minneapolis is not as lily white as you might think.
Also, if you look at this pic,

The guy in the red hair wearing the tiny white briefs and little else and who appears to have a rainbow flag as a cape is Asian. It is not so clear from the picture, but I see him at the club all the time.

When i lived in DC (alas Detroit has only a small Cambodian population) a friend started dating a recent cambodian immigrant. She had hardly any English skills. He had us over for dinner one night. since we couldn't talk to her much, eventually someone turned on the television- an elephant was walking through the jungle and she pops out "WE EAT THOSE!"* she said some parts taste like pork, some like beef and some like chicken.
*Her name was supposed to be Sue Bong Lay, so it is possible the entire thing was a put on.

Wha?!
Regardless of whether she is prettier now, her arms are freakishly long. In fact, she is jerking me off from her LA home as we speak.*
*I am in Chicago. Getting jerked off.

The Ethiopian/Sudanese subgroup are the Anuak. More than 2000 Anuak live in Minneapolis and southern Minnesota (and that is a high percentage of the population of Anuak worldwide).

I don't know if the Anuak are the subgroup that serve the food at generic Ethiopian restaurants, but I miss those restaurants terribly. I think that there's only one in Houston, and it's halfway to San Antonio.
Adhering to the law that at least one Ethiopian restaurant in the area is called "The Blue Nile", it is called "The Blue Nile."

I used to work with a lot of Cambodians and the focus of our work related to cross-cultural issues. I heard about Cambodians surviving the "Pol Pot times" by watching the birds in the forest and eating what the birds ate. I also heard about them eating some kind of giant water bugs that American colleagues said look like giant cockroaches. I've never heard of anyone eating elephant. I also just googled and found a story about poaching elephants in Cambodia. The Cambodians kill elephants because they trample their crops, they want the tusks for ivory or they want to sell the babies to the zoo.
Cambodian Daily article
Maybe she understood more English than you realized and she was pulling your collective legs. Or you will give me some post-hoc whiff answer.

couple of things:
First, I have too many fights going on to have another one, but I don't see you as a particularly time consuming ass to kick, so okay.
Second, do you think I would take what you said as an insult?

Dude, lighten up. Maybe it's time to go home and have a nice cocktail. I wasn't insulting you.

I believe the proper term is "insluting." And I'm not sure we're supposed to be encouraging Hank's drinking. Abba?
