I like your ideas for energy. I think I'm going to bake a cake and eat it, followed by a bag of Oreo cookies, every night from now on. I'll be Kicking. Ass.

Oh, I just found out that my friend who asked me out last weekend is 26. I did not previously know his age. 26! I am awesome.

Brownies

I like them chewy or fudgy. I also liked the cream cheese brownies at the place across the street from the first law firm I worked at out of law school. All other ones I have had have not been that good.

I have barely (hi barely!) made any headway into the chocolate chocolate chip "muffin" I got this morning, and it is almost lunchtime! What the hell is wrong with me?

Damn

Mr. Potato head is a druggy.

SYDNEY, Australia - Customs officers discovered nearly 10.5 ounces of ecstasy tablets hidden inside a Mr. Potato Head toy sent to Australia from Ireland, the agency said Thursday.

Bacon chocolate

I don't know how to reply to posts in other threads, and really don't care to learn.

Hank, did you try any of the other flavors besides bacon and curry? I think curry sounds worse than bacon, but I'm willing to give it a try.

Slave, the "elopement" is not until next week. we will not be having cake, but my friend who threw us an engagement party was horrified that we wouldn't be having a wedding cake so she ordered us a mini-wedding cake for the party and it had a top tier that we froze. Unfortunately we froze it in tin foil and now I've learned that it will taste like shit because I didn't use plastic wrap. But I don't know if that means our marriage will last or not.

Maybe we should just have tiramisu at the wedding and that way I will be prepared for the imminent collapse of the marriage.

tried d'oliva, red fire and Oaxaca. they all sound good, but the flavors don't stand up to the dark chocolate. bacon was great, but the curry coconut was the best. OTOH, my family disagreed about which had the flavor overwhelmed. My son thought the curry flavor was buried, as an example.

Confidential to coltrane: if you want an eva post you'll have to be more direct. Write "string theory" or "smart chicks are ugly."

Bush on the Wildcard

"I made my arguments and went down in flames. History will prove me right." -- Texas Rangers owner George W. Bush after voting against realignment and a new wild-card system during a Major League Baseball owners meeting in September 1993. Bush was the lone dissenter in a 27-1 vote.

From an ESPN article.

Are you going to name the thread, or shall we have another lamely-titled thread like last month?

The Sox won the Series via the Wild Card, so he had a very valid point.
