I am pretty sure they are going to bans Swift from campus soon too, for advocating complete-birth abortions.

The "PS Seriously ...." at the end might have been a clue.

If you didn't pick up lasers for eyes and peg legs to hide children in, you probably aren't noticing the PS, let alone googling for a video.

What America ought to do in Iraq and why we won't.

Correct me if I am wrong here, but isn't it pretty much universally agreed that if the US pulled out there would be a huge blood bath and a market increase in violence? There would be a massive civil war with lots of casualties.

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to say this kid is viewing the future of his country if there is an immediate US withdrawal?

No. Read, e.g., the article linked to in the post directly before yours.

The kid actually is looking at the present of his country.

It is rather interesting the author summarizes very well the stupidity of his entire thesis.

"Readers at this point might be asking themselves, “Is this it? The serious answer to the mess in Iraq is to pull out in the hope that it will not blow up and that hostile states like Iran will help us get out more or less unscathed?” The reaction is understandable."

What is also funny is that he blathers on for hundreds if not thousands of words and then is able to summarize all those words with one simple sentence. Why didn't he just start of with that statement?

Why is the House leadership pushing for a vote on a symbolic resolution that will only make the war in Iraq more difficult and costly?

I assume it has something to do with the Armenian lobby.

On the one hand, it doesn't seem particularly productive. On the other hand, if you think genocide is wrong, then genocide is wrong, even when it was committed by one of our allies.
