And let me guess -- you insist on buying "Hellman's" mayonnaise.

Land O'Lakes is now Wester, or whatever.
Land O'Lakes here in the Land O' 10,000 Lakes makes the butter in the Elgin shape. Other than imported butter, I've only ever seen it in that shape.

I KNOW!!! I thought everyone was going European all of the sudden!!!!!!

It is freaky out here. They also sell hard liquor, apparently 24-7, in GROCERY STORES.

And Hellman's is Best Foods.

And Ozarka water is Arrowhead water.

Both of those last two, they have the same label design, just with different words.

Seriously, though, it seems like the butter shape hasn't been like that the whole time I have lived here. Maybe earlier I was shopping at places where they had normal (I mean, Elgin) butter? But why would the (now closed) Ralphs by me be different from other Ralphseses?

Is he a chef or something? Why are you posting this freakishness on the food board? You have quite taken away my appetite.

You forgot "And Edy's Ice Cream is called Dreyer's, which is confusing similar to Breyer's." And you also apparently forgot to read the re: line.

Has that changed? For some reason I recall cursing every time we got to safeway after 2am. And even more when we got there before 6am.

And then there's the confusion over wine names and domains.

Hm. We should check with ncs & Mr. Man. They have a CVS conveniently located a block or so from them -- my Ralphs closed, and so I am not at a place that would be selling liquor at that hour. Nothing close enough to home.

You are correct, per Wikipedia (which is sometimes highly incorrect, but probably not on this one). Liquor in the grocery store! 20/7!

Stupid Drunken Cooks

So, my mother's cook made dinner at my house 2 weeks ago, and when he did the dishes, he stacked two pots of mine one inside the other, and now they are stuck together.

If they were dogs, I would turn the hose on them, but they are not.

Any ideas how to get them apart?

They are the Calphalon Anodized, if that matters.

Twist? Use some personal lubricant?
