I actually do have one. I also have a little 2 oz. measuring cup, made by Oxo, that is awesome and I use constantly. And a 2 TB measuring spoon.

i'm 6'11" because my mom liked to hang out at Carnivals when she was younger. as to measuring, we're talking about a person who couldn't convert a liter into a cl, you have to give precise and simple instruction.

That creme brulee recipe didn't seem to have anything special other than the addition of the rosemary and the pear so why mess around with conversions.
**There is noticeable difference in the amount of flour you get using different ways of scooping it out/spooning it into the measuring cup.

Unlike baking, the "chemistry" in sex doesn't require precise measuring.
Nor does cooking, in general.

Right, which is why is said this isn't baking. Baking is a whole different world, where precise measuring actually matters.

See, this is why all my recipes have one measurement. Enough.

S. the main thing is understanding you are approximating anyway so err on the high side and cook this stuff.

A tablespoon is not the same thing as a table spoon.

and the paralegal has a boyfriend, so it might need to be spit-roast paralegal and baste liberally.

I don't see how the boyfriend is relevant other than there being an opportunity to bond with the paralegal while cataloguing boyfriend's flaws.
Boyfriend should go toast himself while Adder does the baste and truss bit.

If you have a digital scale, and measuring cups that have metric measurements (all my Pyrex and Oxo liquid measuring cups do), why would you need to convert the recipe?
