this memo doesn't seem like talking points to you? things he wants to discuss "at the meeting Monday."

a style of management is "things are fucked up, aren't they?" you throw out things that you believe could be a problem, but asserted positively as a problem, ie "our case is really weak on notice- Ms. O'Grady should have seen the warning and not slipped on that can of tomatoes, right?" Then you have your underlings argue against it. If they can't then you worry.

I know clients and trial guys who do this all the time. I really read this memo as being closer to that then to a "boy we are into it now." I mean I'm biased but I feel that way.

It's fun to see conservatives sticking hard to the party line even when their leaders are singing a different tune.

Total non-sequitur, but if that's the best you can do, that's the best you can do.

Edwards Gets Punk'd

Ending minutes of speculation, "Hollywood hottie" Ashton Kutcher has announced he will be supporting John Edwards for President.

http://drudgereport.com/flashje.htm

"Ashton has been brushing up on all the issues," says a source close to the FOX star.

Demi has expressed surprise because her views are more closely aligned to Dean. She also expressed relief whe she learned that Kutcher is old enough to vote.

Hi Atty, I forgot to thank you last week. Since I'm not an ungrateful, unsophisticated bitch, I figured I'd thank ya.

I showed the post to a few people in the firm and everyone got a big kick out of it. However, I wouldn't mind finding out what went wrong with the 13 inner tubes bound together. Did he forget to put in a bottom to the bottom tube(s)?

On a related note, it turns out the guy who inspired the original question really is not worth the 15 seconds he got. Yaaaaawwwwwwnnnnnn.

Anyone seen Bil Mo'? Is it cold in Minnesota yet? I just hate to think of my poor ole Bil Mo' alone and lost in the woods without an internet or a blanket. Is there a fine in Minnesota if a hunter accidentally shoots a puffin during Caribou season? Sheesh, stupid question, huh? Do they even allow guns in Minnesota? Anyway, if anyone sees Bil Mo', Say Hello For Me please.

But no, that would be President Bush, speaking this week to the Australian parliament.
Ty, I'm sure this wasn't intentional, but you misquoted him: Here is the quote:

"We're encouraged by China's cooperation in the war on terror. We're working with China to ensure the Korean Peninsula is free of nuclear weapons. We SEEK (emphasis mine) a China that is stable and prosperous -- a nation that respects the peace of its neighbors and works to secure the freedom of its own people. "

That one little letter makes all the difference.
