Maybe this is for the PB,* but does anyone else wonder about the dubious morality of vowing to seek the death penalty up to the moment the defendant pleads guilty?

According to the CNN article, two of the bodies/deaths occured in Oregon which has the death penalty so he could face it there.

Ah, the painful burning in my ears is now explained. I thought it was frostbite from being in the Northwest having neglected to bring a jacket even though the temp was under 40 a large part of the time.

Having a 5 day break in my "tour of all places colder than where I want to be," and having now exhausted all my FB poker winnings on booze, I am emerging from my hole only to notice I do not see my shadow. I'm not sure if that means I am a vampire or there will be 6 more weeks of frosty travel. I suspect the latter. Luckily, my negotiation training has allowed me to worm a desert paradise conference into the mix.

not much, and at not a cheap price, esp. the jacket. You're probably better off putting the money into a new suit you like and saving this one for those "fat" days.

I thought I recall about 1.5 inches (waist & coat), not that I have had that problem come up in some time... But I am no tailor.
