Sex stuff
I don't remember my first orgasm, but I do remember the first boy who offered to show me his. He asked me to show him mine but I refused. His name was Danny and I think we were 5.
I remember thinking, well what the fuck is the big deal? Well I doubt I thought fuck, I was a very well mannered child who didn't curse at all until the 6th grade.
I also remember the first time a group of people decided to play spin the bottle. I remember thinking, what a stupid game.
Edited to say 18? Damn woman. I was in my early teens, I just don't remember when.

So how did you all learn about sex?

When I was around 7, I got a book for Christmas called The Beauty of Birth which glossed over how the sperm met up with the egg but got the basic idea across.
When I was around 12, I found a copy of Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Sex But Were Afraid to Ask in the attic. At some point, my mother discovered it in my possession. She told me I could keep it and read it but I couldn't show my friends because their parents likely would not be as accepting of our curiosity.
Hats off to Mom for being so cool about this (even though she spent the next several years confiscating all my makeup)!

I know we've had the comma discussion on "Bitch, please", but do we need to have one on "Damn, Woman", which I think means something very different than "Damn woman".
That having been said, Damn, woman! My condolences about those pre-18 year old orgasmless sexual experiences.

Well, my first orgasm with another person wasn't until 22 or so.

I just hope that also means your first sexual experience with another person was not until 22.
Orgasmless sex is very sad indeed.

Of course, it may have been the damn boys instead. If only she'd known you in her formative years....

Direct TV
I want to hear from people who have this service. I know it's a digital service provider. I know you get a dish. I think I know you can watch different channels in different rooms. What I don't know is how well it works. How responsive customer service is. What kind of problems you have with it. If it is better or worse than cable.
And does anyone have the HDTV service? (I have it on good authority that I am mainly correct when I say that someone may get me a nice HDTV for Christmas.) If so, are there enough shows shown (including sporting events) in HD that justify the extra $11 a month for the package?
Any and all other information would be appreciated. I'm sick of Time Warner Cable.

I doubt that would have helped, since I wasn't doing anything with other girls in my formative years.
What a waste, I could have been having much more fun in my youth. Think of all that fumbling sex I missed out on during my teen years. It's just not fair.

I guess this explains the lack of a "16 & under" division.

No, it explains the lack of a Seniors division.

I had it for several years in my old city, before the loans came a-calling. The sister's boyfriend was a geek who knew a guy who knew a guy who printed the card access codes off of the internet. Its way harder to do now. There is a reason I mention this, and I'll get to it.
So I had the legal deal for a year, and the illegal all-access deal for a year. Or something like that. The legal deal was probably comparable to Comcast cable, but less expensive and with a few more options, especially better pay-per-view options I think. And that was just for the Basic+HBO deal.
The illegal deal was amazing. There were like 950 channels. If I was really bored, I would watch the 5 o clock local news for cities in 4 different time zones. Or I'd watch the same Simpsons episode. The pay-per-view, including porn, was always available. Ditto all of the premium movie channels.
Those were the best years of my life.
The reason I mention the illegal deal is that it is possible to do the same thing legally if you pay DirectTV enough money (the PPV would get pretty expensive though). Literally, are you a New Yorker living in LA? You can watch the local NYC news. Or at least you could when I had it.
The downside to Direct TV is that the service would sometimes go out when it rained. Then again, so does my Comcast now. Also, they have you plug the machine into a phone jack. No doubt about it, that's so they can make sure you ain't screwing with their cards.
Does that help?
