I realize the way I phrased the poll, I'm not required to answer, but if it were about you, my answer would be "Blue" by The Jayhawks.

These are songs you may have heard, but they definitely qualify as something everyone should hear once:
Angel from Montgomery, Bonnie Raitt/John Prine live version
20 Million Things, Lowell George
Redemption Song, Bob Marley
Use Me, Bill Withers

Hey Ya by Outkast.
It has a very catchy tune but don't tell anyone because I think it might be one of those songs that starts wearing on you if it gets played by every radio station in your area 50 times a day and I don't want it to be ruined for me..........

Is there anyone here who has actually not heard this song? If so, how did you get to law school without going to college?

Penguin, Please.
All common, but if you are going Sesame Street on us, "Put Down the Duckie" (W. Marsalis, D. DeVito, et al.) is clearly superior to "C is for Cookie"

Yes, but we true afficionados prefer the duet with Candace Bergen

I've always been a big fan of "Day by Day" from Godspell. Oh, and Yvonne Elliman's version of "I Don't Know How To Love Him."

A friend of a friend who lives in Atlanta was asked, on a Friday night, if she could bring Outkast over. Outkast and a group of about 15 people. She said no. She wasn't really in the mood to have people over.

Fair enough. Imagine if one of your contemporaries suggested that it was possible that someone who attended institutions of higher learning around the same time that you did had not heard the album "The Best of Gregorian Chants."
