Anyway, I will be rooting for the Leafs to beat the Bruins tonight. Partly, though not entirely, because of uniform issues. The Leafs, of course, have perhaps the best ones in the NHL. And I hate the extra junk that Boston put on its uniforms a few years ago. An understandable conclusion, but wrong. Given the standings and my status as the Puddy of the FB, I would like both Boston and Toronto to Not Win too many more games. Since it isn't possible for both of them to lose tonight, I decided to root for the Leafs.

It means something to beat the Yankees.
There was parity in the 80s and there were only a few exciting series. The Arizona/New York Series and the Boston/New York championship series last year were two of the best of all time. Baseball is alive and well.
