I have a relative who is a pulmonary physician, and every now and then he has to retrieve things from people's lungs. Hurts like a motherfucker, because he's sending a bronchoscope down with little foreceps (kind of like those olive picker-upers) and then yanking to get whatever was inhaled out. But that's a hell of a lot easier than surgery. His best story involves a patient from Mexico City who thought he had lung cancer because of the big ass spot on his chest x-ray. Turns out he had literally inhaled a piece of cabrito and it calcified in the lung.

First girl- I thought she was too pretty to be forgettable as Simon said and was pretty good. But by the end of the show I forgot her. How prescient he is. SHe is done

 2) Fagotty balladeer from Utah. Bitch please, we alraedy have a Clay Aiken and I barely survived taht. How many Barry Manilow Reduxes does the world need?

 3) bad singer with bad dye job. If she wants to be original, perhaps she should stick with her natural haircolor. Lowlights on top of bleach is so 2003. Also, all I could think of is which 80s movie is this song from? Hot Dog?

 4) crooner guy. I want to see this guy sing more. I hated that song and he was so so at it. but he didnt get all theatrical and there is something about this freaky little kid. I voted in for the first time bc I heart him. If he dosent make it, and I dont thin he will, Simon brings him back as wildcard. bc Simon and I see eye to eye.

 5) Asian chick. Missed her but caught judges response and she is a cute teenage asian. she goes through

 6) black guy with great smile. simon was wrong here, he has charisma and is the other winner. i called for him also, but mostly to see if I could get through. I could.

 7) Fake titter. At first I thought she was good, but not great. then when they replayed her, I realized she was screaming. but doesnt Melissa Etheridge scream that song also?

 8) black girl with midwest accent. good singer, bad perfromance. but they already have a Latoya. Adios.
 | Damn. I pretty much agree. I think the asian girl and George the Omelette-man get through. I thought George was the best of the night. Wild card? Who knows.

I would only add:

I thought the first girl was good, not great. She could go on, but I liked the crooner kid too.

He's kind of dorky but different, and he's got a strong voice for a 16-year-old. His rendition last night was not especially inspired, though. He could be the wild card.

Fake titter - Agree. She screamed. She's a pretty girl, but when she opened her mouth so wide, it was completely disturbing, kind of like watching Soundgarden's Black Hole Sun video. Next.

The last girl completely oversang. I absolutely hate vocal theatrics, and she was completely over the top. She does have a great voice if she doesn't over-use it. She possibly could make it. I couldn't believe how completely she lacked any sense of rhythm or timing, though.

The rest were totally forgettable.

 | That is one thing I love about the crooner kid. He doesnt fucking oversing. He is lowkey and just brings his unusually deep voice wihch so doesnt go with his doogie howser look. I just like it. and i think he could totally bring back the dean martin thing for the kids in a hip new way. i think its brilliant. sort of like the retro martiniinis. |

 | He developed a game which has not yet been sold. So, he's really geeky (and not rich), but he is a god to his kind.

I voted last night for the first time this season. I voted for the first chick, the Fijian, and for George. He was off-pitch for the beginning, but when he hit it, I got goosebumps.
I had a hard time getting through for George, so that's positive.

				question

While watching Autopsy XXXIII, Dead and Loving it, there was a piece on siamese twins who were joined by scar tissue that every doctor of that era refused to cut because they didn't know if the two shared any organs and couldn't prevent infection anyway. But the two were actually completely independent people joined by some skin and one small vein.
So, my question: If one siamese twin, permanently connected to his brother, kills his girlfriend in an act of passion and admits his guilt, what happens? How does he get punished?

I recognize that this is one of those law school hypos that gets asked on the third day of crim law, but I skipped that day. Hook a brothah up witcha notes.

 | All I've got in my notes is a hypo about a Siamese twin from England who's in a lifeboat with a couple of other guys and they all decide to eat his brother. |
