Okay, he beat Ken Starr in a trial. But given what became of that particular trainwreck, will the jaundiced eye of history consider that to have been the pull-it-out-of-your-ass miracle it seemed to be at the time?
I have no idea whether he has skills as a lawyer. All I know is that his defense of SP was straight-up Hollywood --- overpromise, underdeliver. In fairness, his client was guilty as fuuuuuuck.
