No. Just hyperbole. In fact, I don't think a college football team could beat a pro team inconsistently. If the Bears played Miami 10 games, I'd say the Bears win all 10. Miami would never score. NFL DBs/LBs are just too fast, even if they play for the Bears.
However, I think some of the really good college basketball teams of the past could beat the NBA's worst team every once in a while. Early '90s UNLV. Fab Five. Some UK teams.
