Ummm. I think maybe your recollection is off. Like you said, it seems like if they went to all that trouble, they would get the characters right. I don't remember either way, but the Madonna, "like a virgin" discussion in there is pretty funny too.

It was Mr. Pink in the movie. I think what happened was, the script that was posted is in its original form and they found out while shooting that Mr. Pink (who complains about his name being Mr. Pink later in the movie) and Steve Buscemi were a better fit for these lines, so they just switched it.
