Are you a good writer? Are you the guy who ends up writing the group's persuasive letters, or the reports to the clients? Then, submit something more free-form that showcases those talents - something with excellent word usage and grammer, which exhibits the ability to clearly communicate complex thoughts cleanly. If you are weaker, or simply more of a technical writer, then submit your best SJ brief, or legal analysis memo.

If it weren't for the spelling, Bilmore coulda been a contendah. But seriously, Bilmore's a very good writer -- as are quite a few people on here -- take his advice. Oh, and send it to me for proofreading. I'll bill you.
