Hipster Rock
Belle & Sebastian have a new EP/single out. It's a double A-side, as the lads are wont to do, with Wrapped Up in Books (off the current album) sharing lead duties with an addictive new song called Your Cover's Blown. I've heard it compared to Bohemian Rhapsody, but I think it's more like a Paranoid Android for the 2000s.
Which led me to thinking about pop songs that have lots of changes in tempo, meter, key, or thematic changes. What are some of your favorites and why?
