Golf and They Might Be Giants
Other than put-put, I have not picked up a golf club since my ONE ill-fated golf lesson in the 6th grade....until yesterday, when I humored my boyfriend and went to the driving range with him. I never though hitting a ball (that wasn't moving) could be so hard. I missed one for every one I hit. My back is sore today. How do all those fat, out of shape men go golfing once a month and manage to walk upright the next day?
On another note, I saw They Might Be Giants for the first time on Saturday, despite being a fan since middle school. Best energy and entertainment I've experienced at a show in a long time. Two thumbs up for anyone on the fence when they come to town.
