Apropos of nothing, I heard some pretentious music rant on "Fresh Air" the other day -- apparently, Alberfeldy is the Scottish band that we should all be listening to instead of Franz Ferdinand -- and thought of you.

Then I realized that I didn't even know that Franz Ferdinand was Scottish (or Scots, for that matter), and it was like it was the whole "is Jill Sobule a riot grrl?" thingy all over again. And so I wept.

Thanks for thinking of me! Sorry about whatever small role I may have had in the whole weeping thing. I don't think I would take as gospel any advice about rock and roll that you hear on Fresh Air. But what do I know? I think the fake html tag schtick is retro and fun!
