Beyond the specifics here, I don't get why "outable" causes one to go anon. Assume someone from one's firm lurked here, and knew some detail of one's life included in a post. That lurker would know that the Poster is the guy down the hallway that had mentioned the detail previously. Instead, with anon, the lurker would know that the guy down the hallway is a poster here, but not be sure which. However, by the Lurker crossing with location and basic family description aren't you just as out?
