EXECUTIVE LEGAL SECRETARY - LITIGATION - Will support a Section Head/Partner and two mid-level associates on a busy desk. Responsible for performing a variety of secretarial duties with minimal supervision, exercising judgment over work priorities, positive contact with clients and professional and support staff. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of three years experience in litigation (preferably in Austin, TX.); a minimum of five years experience as a legal secretary preferred. Typing 70 wpm w/2% or less error rate on the Firm's secretarial typing test and 76% on the Firm's legal spelling test; strong word processing skills; good English grammar skills and telephone etiquette required. Proficiency in Word required. The preferred work shift is 9-5:30 and qualifying candidates should be willing to work overtime as needed.
