I'm seriously suggesting that, for quite a long time, the NOW types held, loudly and publicly and backed with campaign donations, that such behavior could NEVER not be coercive, that such a situation was a prima facie showing of coercion, and they never ever strayed from that party line until Billy got sucked off.
THEN, of course, we had to examine each situation individually, you know, 'cuz the facts were, you know, different in each case.
Having been involved in defending several such cases pre-Billy-BJ, in which a truly consensual relationship got turned into something dirty by this exact double standard, it just sort of galls me, ya' know?
