Exactly.With my lover at that time as my witness, when we embarked on this crusade I noted that it would take 5-10 years of noble dedicated effourt, but the price woud be worth it. Given that we have had troops in Europe for 50 years to ensure democracy in what was already an established, albeit morally rotten, political society, I think 5-10 years to cultivate real Democracy in the Middle east is worth it. What naivete motivates the dems and other liberals to think two years is long enough to pull this off I don't know but I am sure that it is exacerbated by the failure of our public education system do to the oppressive stupification of the teachers' unions.
