That was Thanksgiving with my in-laws. I'm pretty lucky.

My only complaint is that last year, they toasted me and expressed gratitude that I came into their lives. This year, the toast was simply to the baby. As if the baby just magically came into the world with no effort on my part.

My moment in the sun was so brief. Now I am but an afterthought. {Sigh.}
