I had to talk to a cop today by cellphone to get my wife out of a pickle. Seems the registration on her used car (which I got for a ridiculous bargain at auction from a buddy with an auction card) was never transferred to us. You rarely get to use this with a cop:
"I bought the car, but the guy who sold it to me went into rehab before he finished the paperwork. So he never did the proper transfer. He's out now. I'll get it rectified asap. Sorry."
I hate administrative stuff like that. Its such an annoying gay waste of time. car works fine. Its inspected. I got a pink slip for the fucker. Gimme a goddamned break...
